My Goodreads Reviews Part 3

Here is the third part of my Goodreads reviews; four books I devoured in the past few weeks, sweetened with one older.

The Hangman’s Daughter, The Amber Project (The Variant Saga #1), Invitation to Poetry, I Will Kill You in My Dream, How to Write a Sizzling Synopsis: A Step-by-Step System for Enticing New Readers, Selling More Fiction, and Making Your Books Sound Good.

If you are a fan of mystery, crime and historical fiction, The Hangman’s Daughter is a great choice for you! Set in the 17th century Bavaria, this is a dark tale of inquisition, witchcraft, ignorance, serial killings and executions of innocent. A vivid reminder of a long-gone time which, at least when people are in question, is not so different from ours. The author writing about his ancestors makes it even more interesting.

Lovers of dystopia and sci-fi, pay attention to this book! A fantastic story of a group of genetically modified children taken at an early age from their mothers to be educated and military trained in an underground city as humanity’s last hope for survival on the dead and mutated surface, devastated by the mysterious gas Variant.

The Amber Project, the first book in The Variant Saga, by J. N. Chaney has elements of a beautiful blend of The Wool Trilogy by Hugh Howey and The Maze Runner Series by James Dashner I enjoyed and loved reading. Thumbs up for this explosive and excellent novel!

This invitation should accept everyone who appreciates the beauty of the words, sounds, images and emotions. And embrace it with arms wide open as the rain of a waterfall in a slow-mo purifies your thoughts and cleans your soul.

I am grateful to Mihai Brinas for a complimentary copy of Invitation to Poetry. Even more I thank him for writing it.

Would you? Would you kill in your dream if you could? To get revenge on your friends, classmates, people who did you wrong at one point in your life?

This is what Helena did, killed and hurt in her dreams. A wish was enough to make it happen, for a dream to turn into reality.

I Will Kill You in My Dream is a young adult short story about Croatian teenagers at the beginning of war in Croatia and Kristina Gallo’s first story with the taste of supernatural and horror. I’d say a rather successful one.

We all know how to write a book but we suck at writing a capturing blurb! Either it is too long or too boring to hook our readers. Writing a sizzling synopsis is possible if we follow a few simple rules and use the tools to get online book browsers click our Buy button every single day. This book is a gold mine! Dig in!

I thank Derek Doepker for recommending it to me and I extend this recommendation to everyone.

Enjoy reading them!
